The forecasts are looking sunny and bright, as we continue to plant the seeds of the best farming game in web3. The late summer storms have passed and new features are sprouting across DeFi Land. You have certainly seen some of these upgrades already, including our new Coin Flip game, sharp visual updates, and high-yield LP staking. However, we believe Solana Autumn will usher in even more exciting news for our ecosystem. Just take the word of our friend Mike Tyson (he must have seen a sneak preview of this article):

Building Together — Partnerships and Collaborations
We always say “bear markets are for building” and we recognize the many ingenious builders out there who have persevered alongside us. We couldn’t be prouder to have an amazing line-up of partnerships that we will reveal over the coming months. But something very special is brewing for next week…
Coin Flip for Glory and Goldy
Peter the Coin Flipper arrived in DeFi Land to offer the most beautiful, enjoyable, and aesthetic coin flip out there. He’s a charismatic guy who will try his best to talk you into joining him for a flip or two after a long day on the farm. The rules of the game are simple: you start by wagering up to 10,000 $GOLDY or $DFL. Peter flips the coin but keeps the result hidden until you guess heads or tails. If you guess correctly, you double up on your tokens. The commission per flip is a mere 2.5%, which will be burned or recycled back into our ecosystem. Do you have what it takes to be Peter’s favorite player?
NFT Marketplace Upgrades
DeFi Land NFTs were designed to offer the best utility in all of web3. They are your tools for farming, earning, flexing, and proving your citizenship as a DeFi Lander. We built our homegrown marketplace to be the perfect place to track down and purchase your dream NFTs. Since the inception of our marketplace, we have reached a total trading volume approaching 15m $DFL and over 300 $SOL. Our marketplace already has industry-leading speeds and smoothness, but now we are focused on delivering features that enhance your shopping experience. In our first major NFT marketplace upgrade, you can now place bids in $DFL and $SOL for any NFT. Making a bid on any NFT is a simple click away, and all of your bids are stored on the ‘My Bids’ page. We also snuck in warnings for sub-floor listings. We want to protect our players (particularly new community members) from accidentally selling using the wrong currency or price.

Roger, the Forger of NFTs
Forging is our most highly anticipated feature that provides utility for both our NFTs and tokens. Roger the Forger, is a master craftsman who will assist you in dismantling your Gen-0 NFTs into their four unique attributes. Why might you want to do this? Remember, each attribute provides a specific advantage in the game. If you dismantle multiple NFTs, you can forge a super NFT with your favorite attributes. Are you ready to assemble your solid gold Harvest or pimp out your pets in legendary gear? Now is the time to collect the best attributes to prepare to forge the most powerful tools DeFi Land has ever seen.
The Mystery of Idle Racing, Soon to be Revealed
Yet another highly anticipated expansion to our game is Idle Racing. However, we have kept most details about the game a mystery. We’ve ruled out the ordinary choices — so no horses, cars, or snails. We instead settled on an animal that is unique, truly adorable, and extremely fun.
So far, we have given a few hints to the mysterious animal that will be racing around DeFi Land. In fact, some active community members have been lucky enough to spot ephemeral previews in our Discord general chat. What we can say is that DeFi Land racing will be more than a simple game of chance. There will be ways to strategize your victory, from NFT upgrades to selecting the right lobbies and environments. We will be sure to generate lots of hype around the game and the NFT drop when we get closer to the official release.
An Explosion of Use-Cases
Creating value in a digital landscape is a tough task, but we are up to the challenge. We are building an economy driven by the value of digital collectibles, village upgrades, and IRL merchandise/experiences. DeFi Landers can already use $GOLDY and $DFL to upgrade and customize their NFTs, but we aren’t stopping there. In the coming weeks, we will unveil raffles with digital and real-world prizes. These prizes will include merchandise (clothes, action figures, and collab hardware like our customized DFL Ledger) and experiences (such as a paid ticket to join us for Solana Breakpoint in Lisbon). Our team remains focused on creating a robust and sustainable economy, and this is still just the beginning of our long-term vision to reward our players, investors, and community.
