Dear Diane,
Not a day goes by that I do not think of you. It has been one year since we washed up on an island after a violent storm left us to the waves. At this time I cannot elaborate on how we managed to survive, but let me tell you one thing: we found exactly the new beginning we were searching for all these years. The island is abundant with natural resources. We’ve counted a dozen species of fish and the soil grows the most beautiful harvests. We must have enough crops to sustain an entire nation!
You might think I’m mad, but I swear there is magic that you will have to see to believe. When you sail to the coordinates on the back of this letter, look for a shining tower. When you see it, let your sails down and we will carry you to shore.
The captain has allowed me to send this letter on our first expedition back to the mainland. I pray it reaches you so that you, too, can escape the world and find paradise in DeFi Land.

Double Energy Weekend — Complete
We successfully wrapped up birthday celebrations on Monday of this week. Sadly, this means the end of double energy. We hope you had an opportunity this weekend to load up on $GOLDY for upgrades. We also hope you didn’t miss this week’s Medium article on the importance of those upgrades and how to maximize your earning potential.
Rebalancing Community Chat — Complete
After two weeks of bug slaying, we moved on to the next crucial component of in-game improvements: rebalancing. We discussed the rewards and NFT attributes with our community. We created a plan to ensure that the game continues to fairly rewards our players while balancing a fun and sustainable ecosystem. Players will start to see the first improvements based on your suggestions as soon as this weekend.
The Origin Story of DeFi Land — Complete
The lore of DeFi Land is a critical component of our game moving forward. We have proudly completed the first chapter of our lore and we cannot wait to share it with you. Our Gen-0 NFT holders will have exclusive access to read the manga on a dedicated website, coming soon.
NFT Marketplace — Testing/Implementing
Our testing for the NFT marketplace was delayed by Solana issues, but we are pleased to announce that mainnet testing has resumed. We look forward to announcing the ETA for the in-game NFT marketplace early next week.
In-Game Tutorials — Implementing
You will soon be meeting some new characters around DeFi Land with big personalities. These new NPC will help you learn how to play your favorite games, use the marketplace, plant seeds, and more! We have designed our first collection of in-game tutorials and we will be implementing them in the next week.
DeFi Land Mobile Teasers — Coming Soon
We know how excited you are for DeFi Land mobile, and we are proud to say we are working on it. The DFL mobile game will be one of our biggest updates to attract new users, so we will make sure to keep the community in the loop with early previews and renders.
